The main attraction of Hatley is without any doubt the Capelton Mines. Like the miners of the time, you will enter the mine in a cart and visit the earth’s depths. You will discover the industrial history of the oldest copper mine in Quebec, the life of the miners, stalactites and stalagmites, as well as bats. Other than the mine, you will also be able to visit the museum, which will teach you about the Albert, Eustis and Capelton mining development, or you can take the cycle path or the hiking trails that surround the site.
