The Saint-Benoît-du-Lac abbey was founded in 1912. Its monks spend their day praying God and working at the cheese factory, the orchard, the farm or the boutique. The monks still celebrate the Eucharist and Vespers in Gregorian chants.
In addition to the monastery and the church, a house can accommodate those who wish to meditate for a moment of peace. Women can also enjoy this experience in a neighbouring hall. All the products you will find in the boutique are made by the monks.
