Dudswell is made of the villages of Bishopton and Marbleton, which was nominated in 2001 by the Most Beautiful Villages of Quebec Association. The lakes Miroir and d’Argent, as well as the hiking trails of the Forêt Habitée are the pride of the municipality. In the Maison de la culture, you will find a country-style shop, an art gallery and the Louis-Émile-Beauregard collection of 64 wooden sculptures representing rural life scenes of the 1920s and 1940s. From here, you can take the patrimonial circuit, which will allow you to admire Victorian and vernacular houses. Also stop at the Centre d’interprétation de la chaux, which presents an exhibition that will make you discover the numerous facets of the history of limestone extraction. The Domaine La Floralière is also worth a visit. You will find a French-inspiration park with statues and fountains, an English garden with its perennial plants, a rest area that looks like oriental gardens, slate and rock gardens, fields, a brook, a pond full of trout and a wooded area. You will also be able to see the splendid collection of dolls and costumes, as well as an exhibition of wood sculptures and paintings. At La Poterie de Dudswell, you will meet two potters in their workshop and will get to know their tools and production methods.
