Stanbridge East

Stanbridge East

Also part of the Most Beautiful Villages of Quebec, Stanbridge East houses a vineyard that you can visit along the Route des Vins. In the village, you will discover the Anglican Church, the United Church, the ancient neo-classic school, the Musée Missisquoi, the Hodge general store and the Annexe (La Grange à Bill). The Musée Missisquoi is composed of three buildings, which are the Moulin Cornel, inside which you will find the main collection; the Hodge store and the Annexe. The exhibition presented at the Moulin Cornel describes the life of the community in the 19th century, as well as the historical events and souvenirs related to it. In the Hodge store, you will find several merchandises dating back to World War II. The Annexe, for its part, was once part of a dairy shop and now houses a collection of farm machineries as well as a collection of ancient cars and carriages.
