Located around lac Brome, this city is also part of the Most Beautiful Villages of Quebec Association. If you want to fully enjoy all the attractions of the area, take the heritage circuit, which will lead you first to the small Victorian village of Knowlton, renowned for its Anglo-Saxon atmosphere. You will find there, among other things, a grain mill, a blacksmith’s shop and a general store. In the heart of the village, the parc Coldbrook houses a waterfall that will enchant visitors. Not very far from this village, Mount Glen offers 35 campsites where it is possible to go swimming and try the water slides or go hiking. The circuit will then lead you to the Foster station, the tannery and the saw mill of the Fulford hamlet as well as the wooden chapel of West Brome. If you are interested in golf, check the Lac Brome Golf course, considered as one of the most beautiful 18 hole courses in Quebec. The Musée historique du comté de Brome is also worth a stop. In this museum, you will find a collection of artefacts and documents about the county and the region, as well as thematic and art exhibitions. The Route des Vins also crosses the Lac Brome county where you will be able to visit the Domaine les Brome vineyard.
