The city of Windsor bases its economy on the pulp and paper industry. The Poudrière de Windsor is also worth a stop. The interpretation center of the Poudrière will teach you about blasting powder, the history of the site and the manufacturing process, as well as the employees’ work. On the site, you will also find a carpentry workshop, a shop, a sidewalk-café and the parc Watopéka with its forest paths that will allow you to explore the Route de la poudre along the Watopéka River, the archaeological sites and the interpretation panels.
