Sherbrooke is one of the areas in the Eastern Townships region as well as the 7^th most important city in the province of Quebec with its six districts. It is well-located in the heart of the Sherbrooke area. At the beginning of its history, Sherbrooke drew people who were looking for a peaceful place for their summer residence, but this area also welcomed English, Scottish and Irish immigrants.

The scenery that visitors have from the area is magnificent, surrounded by hills and valleys. Nowadays, the city of Sherbrooke is known for its "knowledge", "savoir-faire" and "savoir-vivre".
